Do I need a license to ride a Tromox MinoB?
Yes, at least in most countries you need a proper driving license to ride the Tromox MinoB e-motorcycle. In Europe, it is categorized as L1e-B. The user needs to register the Tromox Mino e-bike at local transportation authorities and buy insurance as well. The motorcyclists are also required to wear a helmet and other necessary protective gear.
What are the main differences between Tromox MC10 and Tromox MinoB?
According to the European Union classification standards, the Tromox MC10 is an electric motorcycle, and Tromox MinoB is an electric moped. They are different in appearance design, product size, battery capacity, charging method, body frame material, max speed and etc.
Can I ride a Tromox MinoB with a passenger?
The Tromox MinoB is not designed to accommodate more than one rider at a time, and we do not recommend this operation. An extra passenger can break the weight distribution and may affect the handling performance of Tromox Mino. The maximum weight capacity for the Tromox Mino is 100 kg.
How fast can Tromox MinoB e-motorcycle go?
At the moment we have two kinds of maximum speed for Tromox MinoB, i,e, 45km/h for the European market with EEC certification, and 50km/h for the Chinese market according to CCC requirements.
How far can Tromox MinoB e-motorcycle go on a single charge?
It depends on what battery pack you order. There are two options for the battery capacity, 60V26Ah and 60V31Ah. For the battery 60V26Ah, it supports an autonomy of 75km, and 60V31Ah can support the autonomy of up to 90km on a single full charge. Obviously, this can still vary depending on the conditions of your battery as well as how much you throttle. Other factors include rider weight, weather, tire pressure, and terrain.
How long does the Tromox MinoB battery take to charge?
It depends on the battery capacity and charger you have on hand. Tromox MinoB has four kinds of battery capacity, such as 60V 21Ah, 60V 26Ah, 60V 31Ah and 60V 38Ah. Take the 60V 31Ah battery pack for instance, it generally takes approximately 5 hours to be fully charged with our supplied standard 6A charger. Please note that 60V21Ah and 60V38Ah batteries are only for the Chinese market.
What is the Tromox MinoB e-bike battery's lifespan?
The Tromox MinoB motorbike battery can remain 80% of the rated power after 700 cycles of charge. Theoretically, the battery can last the same lifespan as the e-bike.
How do I become a Tromox Dealer or Distributor?
If you are interested in becoming a distributor or dealer, please apply here. We will only review businesses that have an existing structure of at least 1 year.
What're the requirements to become a reseller of Tromox bikes in my country?
The most important criteria to us are your motivation and your physical capabilities to handle this task. Please note that we prefer at least 1 year of experience and with an existing business structure. In case you feel capable and motivated enough to become a distributor for a whole country or maybe even a smaller region, please apply here. You can also send your inquiry to info@tromox.com. We will get back to you shortly.
Is an e-motorcycle more expensive than a petrol motorcycle?
Generally, yes — the initial cost of an electric motorcycle is more as compared to a petrol motorcycle. However, the good thing about e-motorbike is that they are cheap to own since they require incredibly minimal maintenance. Not only that, you’d receive major fuel savings since you only need to replace the battery after several years of use. What is more important is that the electric motorcycle is more environment-friendly. Let’s ride green.
What is an e-motorcycle?
An e-motorcycle is essentially a motorbike outfitted with an electric motor and a battery system. It has more or less the same parts as a regular motorcycle, with a throttle, braking system, and controller box. The most notable feature of an electric motorcycle is that it is very silent. On top of that, the beauty of an e-motorcycle is that its battery has a longer lifespan compared to a petrol engine. Due to that, it can be cheaper to maintain. A common misconception is that, since this technique involves advanced technology, the maintenance will be more costly. However, an e-motorcycle is generally service-free. At the most, your e-motorcycle would just have to undergo regular safety checks for parts such as your brakes and chains (Tromox MinoB motorbike has chains as it is equipped with a mid-drive motor).
Should I buy a bike with a mid-drive motor or hub-motor?
They both have their benefits. Hub motors tend to be a little easier to operate if you are a less experienced cyclist, because they require less shifting of gears. Mid-drives tend to get a little better range for equivalent battery capacity, because you’ll get more efficiency by shifting. Therefore you get better hill climbing with a mid-drive motor. Finally, it’s usually easier to change a rear tire with a mid-drive.
How to maintain the Tromox MinoB motorcycle?
Performing routine care and maintenance are crucial for the lifetime and safety of the vehicle. You are advised to follow the maintenance instructions below.
Regular inspection and maintenance
We recommend users perform initial inspection and maintenance at Tromox authorized dealers when the Tromox MinoB motor scooter reaches 1,000 kilometers or two months after purchase (whichever comes first). Regular inspection and maintenance should take place every 3000 kilometers or six months. Tromox authorized dealers of the electric motorcycles will provide maintenance services for your vehicle (which may involve costs, please consult the service staff for details).
Users can also have the motorcycle maintained at professional maintenance points for electric vehicles.
Routine cleaning and maintenance
1.Cleaning: Please clean the vehicle with clean water and neutral detergent. To prevent scratching, please use a soft cloth to dry the vehicle after washing. Metal brushes or sandpaper must not be applied to the vehicle surface.
2.Storage: Please store the vehicle in a ventilated indoor space. Too much sunlight and rain can cause corrosion of parts and shorten the service life. Do not park the vehicle at the building entrance hall, evacuation stairs, corridors or safety exits.
Warnings
1.It is strictly prohibited to flush the vehicle with a high-pressure water gun. Intruding of water can cause electrical and mechanical failures
2.If the vehicle is left unused for a long time, make sure to disconnect the battery from the motorbike to avoid battery over-discharge. In addition, please charge the battery at least once every month.
